[Projects] Designing Innovative Research
A group project in a design module in Design Ethnography
This project gave us experience in developing and presenting an interdisciplinary innovative research proposal. The project consisted of a series of lectures and workshops, where we learned about the variety of issues and problems that arise when applying for funding in both academic and industry settings.
In our interdisciplinary team of designers and ethnographers we presented our pitch for (imaginary) funding, for our research that would have involved Dundee in a community revitalising event, with the aim to strengthen community connections by involving people in a range of public realm projects, which would culminate in a festival of creative activities.
