[Projects] When Project Leads Call

A group project in Design Ethnography.

In this group project, where I worked with Lindsey Messervy and Rosie Barthram, we were presented with the task of working with a project lead, in this instance it was Graham Pullin (a lecturer from Interactive Media Design).

Ultimately our task was to carry out a one-day field study, which entailed observing an Alternative Augmented Communication (AAC) user, then work with the project lead to distil the data collected. We then had to analyse this information in our group, before working out the most appropriate way to present this back to the project lead, in order to show how our research and analysis could be used for the design of speech technology.

Our final outcome consisted of presenting back our insights via a presentation conducted over the web.
